CCTV image released following an assault in Eynsham

Thames Valley Police is releasing a CCTV image of a man officers would like to speak to in relation to an assault in Eynsham.

 

The incident took place at around 12.40pm on Sunday 21 October at the Co-op supermarket on the High Street, Eynsham.

 

The victim, a 74-year-old woman, was queuing when the offender pushed in front of her in the queue. The victim highlighted to the offender there was a queue, resulting in the offender throwing a tub of butter at her.

 

She sustained swelling and severe bruising to her lip, however she did not require hospital treatment.

 

Investigating officer PC Sarah Tibble based at Witney police station said: “I would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man in this image as he might have vital information relating to this incident.

 

“If you know this man, or have any information as to his whereabouts, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101.”
